A short bio


Miguel Angel Tarango was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on January 11, 1975. His family moved to El Paso, Texas where he went from elementary school to the University of Texas at El Paso. He received his B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. During this time, he showed some of his short films at the First International Film Festival at the Chamizal hosted by El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico. He was accepted to present original papers at the annual meetings of the SAA’s (Society for American Archeology) in New Orleans and Montreal, Canada. Miguel was also a TA and worked for the Center for Interamerican and Border Studies for two years. He taught for a year at Bridges Academy, a private school for children with learning disabilities. In 2003, he was accepted into the new electronic media arts design MFA program at the University of Denver and will graduate in 2005.
